- Provide and improve the MarginSeal service
- Process and analyze your invoices for price changes

- Process subscription payments
- Communicate about your account and service updates
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication, which provides enterprise-grade security including:
- Encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3)
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- Isolated database instances per customer
- Automatic backups
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide MarginSeal:
- Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
- OpenAI: Invoice data extraction (AI processing)
- Stripe: Payment processing
- SendGrid: Email notifications
- Vercel: Application hosting
Each of these providers has their own privacy policies and security measures. We only share the minimum data necessary to provide the service.
5. Data Retention
We retain your invoice data for as long as your account is active. After you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 30 days to allow for reactivation, after which it is permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion by contacting support.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Export your data (CSV export available in the dashboard)
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Opt out of marketing communications
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or sell your data to advertisers.

MarginSeal is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
